DYSTIOPUA PROJECT!!!!!!!!!!!

For my dystopia project in English class, I made the assignment more fun for myself by choosing to make a website instead of just doing a google slide or google site. This motivated me to work on it because coding is something I really enjoy. It helped me figure out that if I am able to add something I like into an assignment that is difficult for me or that I don’t feel otherwise motivated to work on, it can help me want to work on it. And one way I can do that is coding, which I also applied to this portfolio. What helped me when something got tricky was going to work on a different part of it or just taking a break and coming back to it later. For example when I got frusturated with the writing aspect, I could work on adding images or adjusting the colors to the website. This would give me a break from the difficult part of the assignment, but I was still making progress.

I also really enjoyed the graphic design asspect of the project. One requirement was to have a piece of in-universe propaganda, so thinking about things like who would be making propaganda, and what it would be for was interesting for my partner and I. Also, it was just fun making the poster. (Said poster can be seen in the my images section of this page.)
